You will be in the cave in small group.

details OF THE VISIT:
You enter in silence into this fascinating natural cavity where legends, Protohistory and History have left their mark… You cross the spectacular rock gallery Carène. A break is offered to you to open up to the vital flow of the cave. You walk on the geological fault : some see it as an opportunity to recharge their energy, others simply contemplate the beauty of this unique place.
You take the narrow Passage du Crime and find yourself in the grandiose Amphitheatre : sacred cathedral propitious to introspection or pure relaxation.
After climbing the grand staircase, you access the upper galleries adorned with curious geological concretions. Here you are in front of the Tomb of Pyrene
Lastly, the lake with its mysterious undulations... Ideal moment to experience absolute darkness : the sounds of the cave are then naturally amplified and you are totally cut off from the outside world.
The silent and contemplative walk continues until the exit of the cavity around 8 or 9 pm, depending on your departure time.

Lombrives is a natural listed site. Whether you are a history or a prehistoric geology lover, or simply contemplative, if you like being in vast underground spaces, if going up and down a high staircase overlooking the Cathedral does not scare you, and if you can walk for 2 hours on a natural ground which can be uneven or a slippery... then whatever your age, put on your walking shoes and some warm clothes because... LOMBRIVES is made for you!
musical events:

1h tour in the cave followed by a 45 minutes concert.
A unique experience ! The concert takes place in the famous Cathedral of Lombrives, with its exceptional natural acoustic. You can consult our program to know the dates of our next events.
Bring very warm clothes, good walking shoes, a small cushion to sit more comfortably in the cave and a headlamp for the way out in the moonlight.
